General Maintenance and Lube Technician

The General Maintenance and Lube Technician role is an onsite position based in Norwood, MA, with compensation ranging from $18.00 to $21.00 per hour. This role supports the service department at Central GMC of Norwood by performing routine vehicle maintenance and light mechanical repairs. The primary purpose of this role is to ensure vehicle safety and performance through scheduled maintenance, fluid checks, and component inspections. The technician contributes to the team by assisting with road tests and preparing vehicles for customer delivery, while gaining hands-on experience through apprenticeship programs.

What you'll do

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance, inspect and change air filters and wiper blades, test systems for security, drive vehicles for road testing, refill fluid levels, ensure proper tire inflation, clean and lubricate fittings, repair or replace worn parts, and reset reminder lights.
