What you'll do

• Receive and unload deliveries and compare items with packing slips
• sort, count, inspect, unpack, and log inventory
• place items in proper storage and rotate stock
• record shipment discrepancies or damage and notify appropriate personnel
• deliver items to departments and obtain signatures
• trace lost shipments and initiate proof-of-delivery documents
• maintain a clean and safe receiving area
• perform light food preparation and may assist with line service during meal periods.
