Certified Hemodialysis Technician

The Certified Hemodialysis Technician role is onsite in Victorville, CA. Pay is $25.20–$27.25 per hour. The technician works under the direct supervision of registered nurses and carries out physicians’ or nurse practitioners’ standing dialysis treatment orders. The technician monitors patients and dialysis equipment during treatment, records observations, reports abnormal findings, and performs treatment setup and completion procedures to support safe dialysis care.

What you'll do

• Assess and report patient appearance and vital signs
• draw ordered blood work when necessary
• initiate dialysis according to standing orders
• monitor and document patient condition during treatment
• confer with nurses and physicians
• maintain a safe environment
• administer saline as described in the procedures
• terminate treatments and care for access sites
• set up, clean, and disinfect equipment
• report equipment malfunctions.
