Personal Care Assistant (PCA)

The Personal Care Assistant role is onsite in Ashburn/Leesburg, VA, supporting elementary and middle school students. Compensation is $20 per hour. The assignment is scheduled to start as soon as possible and run through June 14, 2027, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM–2:45 PM. AB Staffing Solutions connects healthcare professionals with schools and supports clinicians during assignments. The PCA provides academic, behavioral, and personal support throughout the school day so students can participate in classroom activities and daily routines. The role works with teachers, therapists, and school staff to support student needs and a safe, inclusive learning environment.

What you'll do

• Provide one-on-one and small-group student support
• assist with classroom participation and daily routines
• support behavioral, social, and academic needs
• help students stay engaged and on task
• assist with mobility, personal care, and daily living activities as needed
• collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff
• maintain confidentiality and reliable attendance.
