The BBQ Prep Cook/Cutter role is onsite in Fredericksburg, TX, at Junebug’s BBQ within the Albert Hotel. Pay is $20 per hour. Albert Hotel offers lodging, dining, spa, fitness, and event amenities in the Texas Hill Country. The role prepares and portions meats and other food, maintains safe and sanitary work areas, and supports accurate, timely service to guests. It contributes to the Junebug’s BBQ operation by following recipes and procedures, meeting guest needs, and coordinating with colleagues and other departments.

What you'll do

• Follow operating standards, policies, and procedures
• inspect food preparation and serving areas for safe handling
• prep and season meats according to recipes
• clean and sanitize work areas and equipment
• store food to prevent spoilage
• restock supplies
• test food for doneness
• communicate with guests about orders and dietary needs
• complete order sheets and weigh meat to specifications
• portion, arrange, and garnish food
• maintain equipment and safety practices.
