Volleyball Coach, Youth and Adult Sports Programs

The Volleyball Coach role is onsite in Butler, PA. Pay is $12 per hour. The YMCA supports community well-being through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The coach develops, organizes, and implements sports and recreation programming for youth, teens, and adults. The role plans structured activities, coaches and supervises participants, maintains program records and safe program spaces, and builds positive relationships with participants, families, staff, and volunteers.

What you'll do

• Implement and supervise culturally relevant, developmentally appropriate program activities consistent with YMCA values and objectives
• plan structured activities and age-appropriate sports curriculum
• motivate and direct participants, parents, staff, and volunteers
• officiate, coach, and supervise sports programs as required
• maintain participant, volunteer, and program records
• build positive relationships
• enforce rules and behavior expectations
• maintain program areas, equipment, storage, safety, and cleanliness
• set up areas according to facility schedules
• attend staff meetings
• follow YMCA policies and emergency procedures.
