The Commercial Driver role is onsite in Bakersfield, CA, with late-morning or late-shift starts and Friday–Tuesday scheduling, subject to possible adjustment. Pay is $25–$32 per hour, with starting pay of $25 per hour. World Oil Transportation moves petroleum products and provides environmental services in California and the western United States. The driver transports hazardous waste or materials and petroleum products to customer locations, including possible cargo-tank operation. The role supports safe, compliant deliveries through vehicle inspections, accurate documentation, communication, and careful loading and unloading.

What you'll do

• Operate a commercial motor vehicle and associated equipment safely
• perform pre- and post-trip inspections
• comply with regulations and company policies
• complete manifests and shipping and receiving documents
• maintain telephone or radio contact with a supervisor during shifts
• load and unload trucks, potentially including hazardous materials
• communicate with customers and coworkers
• use sound judgment in routine and emergency situations.
