The Manufacturing Electrical Engineer II position is onsite in San Diego, CA. Compensation is $45–$58 per hour. The role supports INOVIO, a biotechnology company developing and commercializing DNA medicines for HPV-related diseases, cancer, and infectious diseases. The engineer investigates and resolves device issues arising in manufacturing and in the field, working with Quality to document and address them within the Quality Management System. The role also supports manufacturing operations, product quality, process validation, and product development in accordance with established procedures and regulatory requirements.

What you'll do

• Investigate product complaints, field returns, and manufacturing issues
• determine root causes and implement corrective actions
• support Material Review Board, NCMR, and CAPA activities
• troubleshoot PCB and PCBA processes and electrical assemblies
• document technical issues and support continuous improvement under GMP requirements
• support manufacturing line processes, validation, and product development
• create and revise manufacturing and testing instructions and documentation
• participate in design reviews
• provide engineering support to other departments.
