Transmission Line Engineer in Duluth, MN. This is a remote position. The pay range is $59,150.00 - $106,925.00 per year. Leidos is a technology leader serving government and commercial customers with innovative digital and mission solutions.

What you'll do

  • Work as a member of a dynamic team solving challenging problems involved with electric transmission.
  • Serve as an Engineer on electric transmission line design projects for extra high-voltage (EHV) overhead and underground systems.
  • Apply NESC, ASCE, ACI and other applicable standards in the engineering and design of electrical overhead and underground systems, voltage conversion projects, new capacity projects, and infrastructure replacement projects.
  • Perform engineering analyses, prepare bidding documents, draft plans and specifications, and prepare material procurement and construction documents.
  • Work with a multi-person Leidos team and interface with clients, project planning, environmental, permitting, and construction management personnel.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Structural, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
