Robot Technician — Day Shift

The Robot Technician — Day Shift role is onsite in Redmond, WA, with pay of $29.54–$46.99 per hour. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.; occasional travel to other facilities, clients, or suppliers may be required. Sigma Design provides product development, engineering, and manufacturing services to clients. The technician maintains and repairs robotic systems, diagnoses mechanical, electrical, software, and controls issues, and helps restore equipment with minimal downtime. The role also documents service procedures and field findings, supports site personnel, and collaborates with engineering and other technical teams to improve system reliability and safe operation.

What you'll do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on robotic systems and related components
• diagnose faults and complete repairs, adjustments, and replacements
• document and refine maintenance procedures and troubleshooting workflows
• provide field operational guidance
• follow safety and maintenance procedures
• collaborate with engineering and technical teams
• report equipment performance and recurring issues
• assist with installation, setup, commissioning, shutdown, and relocation as needed
• and maintain accurate service records.
