What you'll do
- Provide hands-on care and physical and emotional support to residents
- monitor and report changes in residents’ conditions
- respond promptly to resident call bells
- assist with continence care, meals, room cleanliness, and activities of daily living
- review resident service plans
- assist with and observe medications and treatments using medication observation records and the Six Rights of Medication Pass
- document medication administration, refusals, and missed doses
- restock medication carts
- count narcotics with another medication care manager or nurse each shift
- take and record vital signs
- report occupational exposures.
