Before- and After-School Site Supervisor — Part-Time

The Before- and After-School Site Supervisor role is fully onsite in Somerville, NJ. Compensation is $18–$19 per hour. Greater Somerset County YMCA supports youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The supervisor helps deliver a safe, engaging program for children ages 5–12, overseeing activities and building positive relationships with children and families. The role maintains a welcoming program space and communicates situations requiring the Youth Program Director’s attention.

What you'll do

• Assist with enrichment, physical activities, free play, and snack time
• supervise children
• build relationships with children and families
• respond to parent or guardian questions
• maintain discipline under program policies
• encourage participation
• follow safety procedures
• clean and organize the program space and equipment
• update the Youth Program Director on issues.
