Assistant Shipping Supervisor

The Assistant Shipping Supervisor role is onsite in Bolingbrook, IL, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Compensation starts at $23.75 per hour. The supervisor joins Accurate Personnel’s team and oversees daily dock shipping activities. The role coordinates outbound orders, packing, loading, carrier pickups, and staffing while supervising shipping forklift drivers and material handlers. It also supports safe, accurate, and timely shipping operations through employee training, document review, process improvement, and coordination with warehouse and other internal departments.

What you'll do

• Supervise shipping forklift drivers and material handlers
• coordinate outbound order pulling, staging, packing, loading, and carrier pickups
• monitor carrier arrivals and pickup times
• coordinate staffing
• review bills of lading, advance shipping notices, and packing slips
• recruit, train, evaluate, and certify employees on forklift and SOP functionality
• enforce safety and 6-S sanitation processes
• support process improvements.
