The Speech-Language Pathologist role is onsite in Chelsea, MI, at Kresge Health & Rehab Center within Chelsea Retirement Community. The schedule is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with flexible scheduling. Pay is $45.06–$50.73 per hour. The position provides in-house rehabilitation services across skilled nursing, assisted living, memory care, and independent living. The pathologist evaluates and treats speech, language, voice, fluency, and related swallowing needs to support residents’ communication and functional goals. The role develops treatment plans, educates residents and families, documents care, and contributes to individual and group programming.

What you'll do

• Perform hearing and speech-language examinations and evaluate results
• assess barium swallow results and medical background
• diagnose and develop treatment plans
• educate residents and families about communication methods
• maintain reports and client records
• coordinate administrative, billing, and caseload documentation
• develop individual or group activities and programs
• participate in planning and team meetings.
