The Direct Support Professional (DSP), Day Support Activities role is onsite in Eugene, OR, at a starting wage of $25.00 per hour. North Star Oregon’s Day Support Activities team supports adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities through community-based activities that promote inclusion and independence. The role helps participants pursue individualized interests and goals by supporting outings, communication, money management, and daily living skills. It also contributes to safe, person-centered services through documentation and coordination with coworkers, families, and case managers.

What you'll do

• Lead and participate in community outings and activities
• promote independence, inclusion, and person-centered supports
• assist with communication, money management, and daily living skill development
• transport individuals safely
• complete required electronic documentation
• follow individual support plans and agency policies
• maintain a safe, respectful, inclusive environment
• collaborate with coworkers, families, and case managers.
