The Behavior Specialist 1:1 is an onsite role based in East Montpelier, VT, with a pay range of $23 - $28 per hour. This position supports the Special Education team at ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education, contributing to their mission of providing alternative education programs. The role exists to implement positive behavior support programs and provide crisis intervention for students. By utilizing proactive strategies and Applied Behavior Analysis principles, the specialist helps students overcome behavioral challenges and achieve academic and social-emotional success.

What you'll do

• Implement individual and group interventions, reinforce positive student behavior, maintain behavioral records, collect and analyze behavioral data, support classroom management, provide crisis intervention, and collaborate with IEP teams.
