What you'll do

• Perform scheduled safety inspections and weekly walkthroughs of high-risk areas
• complete and document life-safety and preventive-maintenance tasks
• prepare preventive-maintenance schedules
• maintain records of maintenance activities and parts
• conduct daily rounds and prioritize work orders
• maintain electrical and mechanical equipment
• check and adjust lighting, temperatures, circuit breakers, and the nurse call system
• maintain supplies
• prepare resident rooms for new or discharged residents.
