What you'll do

• Conduct physical walkthroughs at county offices, departments, and remote sites to locate and validate IT hardware
• confirm asset tags, serial numbers, condition, models, and configurations
• reconcile physical equipment with CMDB records and correct inaccuracies
• perform weekly or monthly inventory reconciliations against discovery, cloud management, and endpoint tools
• identify data and workflow issues and document non-standard or untagged devices
• support charge-code assignment, procurement checks, and hardware refresh planning.
