The Mulcher / Equipment Operator role is onsite in Mount Pleasant, IA, with pay of $21 per hour. The operator supports vegetation management work around electrical lines for W A Kendall and Company. The role operates heavy equipment to remove branches and tree material, while helping crews prepare equipment, maintain safe work practices, clear debris, and protect employees and the public. Storm restoration work and out-of-town travel may be needed when required.

What you'll do

• Operate heavy equipment to remove branches and tree material from electrical lines
• prepare equipment and materials under the foreperson’s direction
• help maintain and repair equipment and tools
• assist crew members and take a leadership role when required
• clear and dispose of debris
• set up barriers and warning signs
• track and report mileage
• perform storm work as needed.
