Senior Telecommunications Technician

What you'll do

• Contribute to plans, procedures, and checklists for operational readiness
• coordinate deployment, installation, integration, operation, and maintenance of radio frequency and related communications systems
• integrate and evaluate voice, data, and video equipment
• advise technical and nontechnical stakeholders
• translate requirements into acquisition documentation
• analyze test data and recommend changes
• plan installation projects
• monitor, test, align, and isolate faults in circuits and equipment
• repair equipment to the lowest replaceable unit
• coordinate restoration of telecommunications circuits
• provide technical input on national security and crisis command-and-control programs.
