Brain Injury Re-entry Specialist

The Brain Injury Re-entry Specialist works primarily onsite in Denver, CO. Compensation is $28–$30 per hour. The Brain Injury Association of Colorado provides support, connections, and resources to brain injury survivors and their support networks. The role helps people with brain injuries transition from legal-system involvement back into the community. Through screening, individualized re-entry and symptom support planning, group facilitation, and coordination with clients’ support networks, the specialist helps survivors access services and stabilize during this transition.

What you'll do

• Manage a caseload of 25–35 survivors from one or two specialty courts
• screen legal system-involved individuals for brain injury
• develop re-entry and symptom support plans
• facilitate weekly AHEAD groups
• coordinate with professionals, family members, and caregivers as authorized
• connect clients with BIAC services and referrals
• document client contacts within 72 hours
• attend meetings and ongoing training.
