Preschool Assistant Teacher

The Preschool Assistant Teacher works onsite in Vestal, NY, on a full-time schedule of Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Pay is $16–$16.50 per hour. Cub Care Children’s Center is a four-star Quality Stars NY participant providing early childhood education programs. The assistant teacher supports children’s learning and development by helping the Lead Teacher carry out lesson plans, preparing learning materials, communicating with families, and contributing to a nurturing classroom environment.

What you'll do

• Coordinate activities with the Lead Teacher
• prepare and organize learning materials
• support weekly lesson plans
• communicate with families
• participate in staff meetings
• and complete required annual training and coaching.
