Development Manager, Fundraising Events

The role supports The ALS Association’s fundraising and mission activities, including signature events and local third-party events. The manager implements fundraising event plans, builds relationships with supporters and community partners, and coordinates event logistics and budgets. Through event recruitment, stewardship, outreach, and collaboration with Care Services and communications staff, the role helps grow support for the ALS community and the Association’s mission.

What you'll do

• Implement a comprehensive plan toward a $500,000 income portfolio goal, including signature events such as Walk to Defeat ALS in Maine, Vermont, and New Hampshire
• recruit, steward, and retain event committee members, team captains, and walkers
• manage event logistics and budgets
• partner with Care Services staff to involve patients and families
• work with Marketing and Communications staff on marketing and public relations objectives
• contact sponsors, donors, vendors, and volunteer committees
• represent the organization at community events
• coordinate event promotional materials
• support the Territory team and Programs and Development departments.
