Material Installer

Job overview

The Material Installer role is an onsite field position based in Fort Worth, TX, with work primarily in the field. Compensation starts at $19–$20 per hour based on experience. AWP Safety helps protect infrastructure work zones and supports crews, drivers, and its own teams through traffic management and safety services. The installer transports, prepares, measures, places, and installs signs and other materials according to project specifications and safety protocols. The role also performs maintenance and repairs, documents completed work, and coordinates with project and operations teams to support safe, accurate installations.

What you'll do

• Check signs against client specifications for spelling, font, size, and medium
• load and transport signs, tools, and materials safely
• prepare installation sites and surfaces
• measure, place, connect, and install materials
• clear debris after installation
• perform maintenance and repairs as needed
• operate and maintain tools and equipment safely
• communicate with project and operations teams
• take and email completion photos
• complete logs, vehicle inspections, work orders, and timecards
• maintain required licenses.
