The Senior Electrical Engineer (PE) role is onsite in Helena, MT, with remote work also available. Compensation is $110,000–$125,000 per year. FourFront Design’s mission is to craft lasting legacies in the built environment. This senior engineer designs building electrical systems from project initiation through completion, checks plans and specifications, and monitors construction for conformance with project requirements. The role also provides technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced engineers and supports project delivery through code expertise and client coordination.

What you'll do

• Design electrical power distribution, lighting, and cabling systems for commercial, medical, professional office, and other buildings
• assess client needs and project scope
• review designs, budgets, schedules, plans, and specifications
• apply codes and engineering standards
• coordinate with code officials, clients, contractors, and other design professionals
• monitor construction for conformance
• mentor engineers
• and provide project management when required. A professional engineering license and at least 10 years of electrical design experience are required.
