Steel Material Handler

The Steel Material Handler role is onsite in Richmond, VA. Compensation is $22–$25 per hour. Kinsley Steel specializes in structural steel design, engineering, detailing, fabrication, erection, and retrofit work. The handler supports the fabrication shop by moving steel and supplying production tables with materials. The role contributes to shop operations through safe loading, unloading, rigging, and forklift work, while following safety procedures and supporting production needs.

What you'll do

• Operate a forklift as needed
• perform rigging work including jacking and staking
• load and unload steel from trucks
• transfer steel to production tables
• perform other duties supporting the fabrication shop
• follow safety policies and communicate effectively with coworkers, clients, and supervisors.
