What you'll do

• Provide wound care services to long-term care patients in skilled nursing facilities
• prescribe appropriate medications, including controlled substances in accordance with Arkansas law
• order, review, and follow up on treatments and diagnostic testing
• communicate with nursing home staff about changes in condition or care plans
• collaborate with the primary care physician. Requires a current, unrestricted Arkansas NP license, board certification, and clinical background in adult, family, or geriatric specialties and wound care. DEA licensure is optional. Wound certification is preferred or the candidate may be open to obtaining it.
