The Press Operator role is onsite in Burlington, VT. Pay is $21–$25 per hour, based on experience. The position is part of Citizen Cider’s Operations team and supports cider production. The operator runs fruit-pressing equipment safely and efficiently, helping process fruit according to production schedules and quality standards. The role also supports sanitation, routine equipment care, and accurate production records.

What you'll do

• Operate fruit-pressing equipment according to SOPs and production schedules
• monitor and adjust equipment
• load and unload fruit
• report equipment issues
• maintain production records
• assist with equipment setup and breakdown
• clean and sanitize production equipment
• perform routine lubrication and preventive maintenance as trained
• perform sulfite additions after required training
• operate the apple dumper safely.

Why this role
