What you'll do

• Oversee the nursing department in the DON’s absence
• review staffing at shift change and assign or replace staff to meet patient needs
• complete patient care rounds
• coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges and ensure documentation
• assist with orientation of evening and night employees
• supervise and evaluate evening and night staff.
