What you'll do

• Install, align, dismantle, and move machinery and mechanical equipment
• connect and check electrical components
• perform occasional preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, bearings, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• diagnose and repair equipment problems
• interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and manuals
• operate machine tools to modify or fabricate parts
• and maintain a safe, clean work environment.
