What you'll do

• Receive and unload deliveries
• check merchandise against purchase orders and delivery documents
• document discrepancies or damage and notify managers
• store products appropriately and follow FIFO standards where applicable
• organize and retrieve inventory
• coordinate with other departments
• return unsalable merchandise to suppliers
• maintain shipment and transfer records
• verify and close purchase orders as assigned.
