Job overview

The Van Driver – PACE Montrose role is onsite in Montrose, CO, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and occasional weekends. Pay is $19.50–$23.50 per hour, based on previous work experience. Senior Community Care of Colorado PACE provides healthcare and supportive services to help adults age 55 and older live safely and independently in their homes and communities. The driver provides safe, timely transportation for PACE participants to medical and specialist appointments and activity outings, and transports meals, equipment, pharmacy items, and other needed supplies. The role supports participant satisfaction by following assigned routes, adapting to schedule changes, and communicating changes and safety concerns to dispatch or the Transportation Manager.

What you'll do

• Safely transport participants to and from medical and specialist appointments and activity outings as requested through the plan of care
• transport meals, durable medical equipment, pharmacy items, and other needed items
• provide considerate care to passengers
• follow assigned schedules and adjust for changes while communicating with dispatch
• report safety issues to the Transportation Manager.
