Residential Advisor - Full-Time

Job overview

The Residential Advisor - Full-Time role is onsite in Philadelphia, PA, with pay of $17 per hour. Project Transition’s mission is to empower people with behavioral health conditions, substance use disorders, and/or developmental disabilities to live in the community. The advisor provides direct oversight of members’ residential living arrangements, supporting safety, cleanliness, recovery, daily living, and medication self-administration. The role documents member progress and coordinates with the treatment team to support individualized plans and community living.

What you'll do

• Inspect residences and support activities of daily living
• support facilities and medication-management checklists
• observe and document member self-administration of medication
• implement and document interventions and progress relative to treatment plans
• complete incident reports and progress notes
• facilitate or co-facilitate assigned groups
• support member transportation
• observe assigned alcohol and drug screenings
• coach daily living activities, socialization, communication, conflict resolution, and crisis-support use
• assist with meal planning and preparation
• encourage health and home safety
• support public transportation navigation
• attend training, supervision, and program meetings.

Why this role

Schedule is 8:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., with two nights per week from 1:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m. and every other weekend required. High school diploma or equivalent and a valid non-commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record are required.
