What you'll do

• Respond to patient call lights and relay needs to nursing personnel
• distribute meals and assist with feeding
• retrieve and deliver supplies, specimens, instruments, and test results
• document basic procedures and treatments
• assist with patient transfers
• monitor behavioral health patients for safety
• perform EKGs, point-of-care testing, and phlebotomy
• maintain a clean and orderly environment.

Why this role

Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification is required. CNA, EMT, EMT-I, or EMT-P certification is preferred; six months of hospital experience and EKG or phlebotomy skills are also preferred.
