The Technimark High School Apprenticeship Program is onsite at the Asheboro, NC campus. Compensation is not specified. The program is for students graduating high school in 2027 and combines full-time work at a Technimark plant with classes at a local community college. Apprentices rotate through technical groups before entering a specialization in process molding, tool and die, or maintenance/automation. The program develops practical manufacturing skills and leads, upon completion, to a technician role in the apprentice’s specialization and a college certificate for the coursework program.

What you'll do

• Rotate through technical groups to gain exposure to technical areas
• in the process molding track, learn to identify issues with machinery, automation, robots, molds, process criteria, and auxiliary equipment, perform in-press mold cleanings, complete job reports, and use Maximo
• in tool and die, learn mold troubleshooting, tool-room equipment operation, drawing interpretation, mold cleaning and rework, and recordkeeping
• in maintenance/automation, learn troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance for equipment, facilities, robots, and automation, and help maintain an organized shop.

Why this role
