Job overview

Google Cloud Architect – Federal and DoD Programs is a hybrid or remote role with travel to customer sites of approximately 10–25%; Washington, DC/Northern Virginia is preferred. Compensation is not specified. PGTEK is a consulting organization supporting clients’ business and technology objectives. The architect leads secure cloud landing-zone design and delivery for federal and Department of Defense customers. The work spans hybrid and disconnected architectures, automation, container platforms, and AI-ready services, while supporting security compliance and technical delivery.

What you'll do

• Design and implement Google Cloud landing zones and resource hierarchies
• architect solutions using Google Cloud services
• design hybrid connectivity, IAM, Terraform modules, CI/CD/GitOps, and observability
• support Google Distributed Cloud and air-gapped environments
• conduct architecture workshops and design reviews
• mentor engineers
• contribute to proposals and technical volumes
• support RMF activities.
