Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Straight Nights in Lakota, ND. This is an onsite position with a salary range of $26.00 - $36.00 per hour. This role provides professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long term care, under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. The LPN ensures the health, comfort, and safety of residents, administers medications, and contributes to resident care plans.

What you'll do

• Provides professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long term care, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician.
• Demonstrates knowledge of nursing principles for the resident in the relevant clinical setting.
• Ensures the health, comfort and safety of residents.
• Contributes to the assessment of residents and administers medications or treatments as ordered.
• Provides technical support to healthcare professionals as needed.
• Documents resident interactions and outcomes.
• Counsels residents, family members and/or resident advocate on prevention and treatment plans.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

What we're looking for

Education

Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Experience

Must have attended a pre-licensure nursing program that included supervised clinical experience across the life span as part of the curriculum or have had a minimum of 400 hours of experience as LPN at another facility.
