The HVAC Repair Technician role is onsite in Charlotte, NC. Pay is $24–$30 per hour based on experience, plus additional earning opportunities. Horne Heating and Air Conditioning serves homeowners in Charlotte and surrounding communities with heating, cooling, and home comfort solutions. The technician diagnoses residential heating and cooling problems and completes repairs to company quality and safety standards. The role supports dependable customer service by explaining findings and repair options, documenting work, and maintaining equipment and a company-provided service vehicle.

What you'll do

• Diagnose residential heating and cooling system problems and determine repair solutions
• perform HVAC repairs and service to company quality and safety standards
• communicate findings, repair options, and recommendations to homeowners
• complete repairs efficiently
• troubleshoot equipment and make repair decisions
• maintain accurate service and job documentation
• responsibly operate and maintain a company-provided service vehicle
• organize equipment, tools, and work areas
• work safely in crawlspaces, attics, elevated areas, confined spaces, and outdoors
• continue technical development through training and certification opportunities.

Why this role

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Requires at least two years of residential HVAC service experience and a valid driver's license with an insurable driving history. Universal EPA certification, ServiceTitan experience, and residential plumbing experience are preferred.
