The Maintenance Technician, Packaging Equipment role is onsite in South Beloit, IL. Pay starts at $22–$23 per hour based on experience and skill set. The position supports packaging equipment in a structured cGMP production environment. The role exists to keep packaging machinery operating reliably and support production efficiency and quality standards. Through setup, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and collaboration with production teams, the technician helps minimize downtime while maintaining safety and cGMP compliance.

What you'll do

• Set up, operate, and maintain packaging machinery
• troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment
• perform wiring and diagnostics as needed
• assist with vision systems and PLC troubleshooting as applicable
• conduct routine and preventive maintenance
• comply with cGMP and safety standards
• interpret technical documents and schematics
• collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime
• maintain an organized work area.

Why this role

Training begins on first shift; after successful training, first- or second-shift assignment may be available. First shift is Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.; second shift is Monday–Thursday, 2:25 p.m.–12:55 a.m.
