• Promote a positive classroom atmosphere and maintain discipline to support learning
• build student-instructor rapport

• prepare the classroom and maintain relevant lesson plans
• record and forward attendance
• assist with Job Corps forms
• maintain classroom cleanliness
• prepare reports and student evaluations
• record progress and case notes in CIS where appropriate
• assist with scheduled inventory
• model communication and employability skills
• maintain accountability for staff, students, and property
• follow safety practices
• attend required staff training.
