Building Superintendent / School Property Supervisor

The Building Superintendent / School Property Supervisor role is fully in person, Monday through Friday, in New York City, NY, with hours spanning 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and additional availability as needed. The salary range is $80,000–$110,000 per year. The role supports Zeta Charter Schools’ mission to provide excellent, equitable education to students. The superintendent maintains safe, functional school facilities so school teams can focus on students and learning. Working with the school-based Operations Director and Network Facilities Team, the role handles repairs and maintenance, coordinates vendors, and supports facilities projects and emergencies.

What you'll do

• Execute facilities projects coordinated by the school-based Operations Director and Network Facilities Team
• maintain fire prevention and HVAC systems
• coordinate and monitor vendors
• perform carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and general facility repairs
• maintain trash, recycling, and scheduled building-system maintenance
• support facilities emergencies and work as needed evenings and weekends.
