Assistant Preschool Teacher

The Assistant Preschool Teacher role is onsite in Port Saint Lucie, FL, and pays $14.00–$16.00 per hour. Foundations Academy partners with families to develop children academically, spiritually, socially, and physically. The assistant supports the lead teacher in maintaining a safe, nurturing, and orderly classroom and meeting students’ daily needs. By preparing lesson materials, supporting interactive learning, supervising children, and coordinating with teachers and families, the role contributes to classroom learning and student care.

What you'll do

• Provide individualized instruction that promotes interactive learning
• prepare lesson materials according to the lead teacher’s plans
• maintain a tidy and orderly classroom
• collaborate with teachers and parents and participate in regular meetings
• plan and carry out educational indoor and outdoor activities and events
• follow classroom and school schedules and policies
• participate in required training and school activities.

Why this role
