The High Net Worth Tax Managing Director role is onsite in Denver, CO, with an estimated salary range of $192,900–$347,100 per year. GHJ is an independent advisory, tax, and accounting firm serving businesses and nonprofit organizations; this position reports to the Tax Department Practice Leader. The managing director leads complex individual, trust, and gift tax engagements, oversees tax return preparation and review, advises clients on tax planning, and supervises and develops staff. The role also contributes to recruiting, practice development, and firm initiatives.

What you'll do

• Manage preparation and review of individual, trust, and gift tax returns
• perform technical review and approval of tax returns
• participate in client meetings and tax planning
• advise tax preparers and specialists
• communicate relevant tax developments
• manage government tax examinations and represent clients before taxing authorities as applicable
• supervise and train staff
• support recruiting, performance evaluations, and professional development
• participate in practice development and community and industry activities.
