Tax Manager

The role maintains controls, resolves escalated issues, and improves processes in support of client service and company goals.

What you'll do

• Oversee payroll tax payments, reconciliations, filings, and quarter- and year-end readiness
• monitor federal, state, and local payroll tax requirements
• communicate regulatory changes
• recommend process, training, and system changes
• escalate material issues
• develop tax education and training
• maintain procedures and internal controls
• monitor KPIs and quality trends
• resolve escalated client and agency issues
• manage hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance reviews, staffing, and other supervisory duties
• propose improvements to compliance, efficiency, and workflows.
