What you'll do

  • Cut and lay up composite fabrics and rubbers
  • prepare resin and hardener ratios
  • position plies, vacuum-bag parts, and operate curing ovens or autoclaves. Read engineering orders, work instructions, blueprints, and service repair manuals. Perform sanding, dry fitting, trimming, wet layup, surface preparation, co-curing, secondary bonding, and component positioning. Use cranes and forklifts as needed, follow assembly instructions, and maintain safety and foreign-object-debris awareness.
