The manager leads structural engineering and design for high-voltage substations, ensuring designs, calculations, and construction documents meet project requirements and applicable codes. The position also provides technical leadership and mentoring as the Power Group expands its services and markets.

What you'll do

• Lead structural engineering and design for transmission and distribution substations, including new builds, expansions, and retrofits
• perform and review structural analysis and design using listed engineering software
• develop and oversee construction documents, specifications, plans, and calculations for steel, concrete, and foundations
• evaluate existing structures for capacity, retrofit needs, and code compliance
• coordinate with geotechnical teams
• lead or support field investigations, constructability reviews, and site assessments
• review delegated design work
• mentor junior engineers, designers, and drafters.
