This work helps the hospital deliver veterinary care to patients and service to their owners; the schedule includes 40 hours across 4–5 shifts per week, with rotating shifts during an initial 90-day training period and 24 hours per month of on-call coverage after 90 days.

What you'll do

• Conduct examinations and diagnostic procedures as directed
• take vital signs, collect samples, administer medications and vaccines, and bandage wounds
• assist with examinations and operations
• provide nursing care and monitor patients
• maintain medical records, supplies, equipment, and inventory
• communicate patient status to owners as directed
• follow sanitation, safety, and applicable legal procedures.
