The I&C Electrical Engineer is an onsite position based in Rochelle, IL. The role offers a salary range of $92,700 to $114,000 per year and supports the Byron Clean Energy facility at Constellation Energy. This position is responsible for performing engineering and technical tasks related to instruments and controls in support of nuclear plant operations. The engineer ensures that all technical work adheres to safety analyses, industry codes, and regulatory requirements while supporting the operational excellence of the facility.

What you'll do

• Perform engineering and technical tasks as assigned by supervision applying general engineering principles.
• Assure all engineering products prepared are in accordance with applicable safety analyses, industry codes, and all regulatory requirements.
• Participate in the development and implementation of effective processes and techniques at appropriate levels of detail and in compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Recommend format and methodology improvements to standard processes and procedures.
• All other job assignments and/or duties pursuant to company policy or as directed by management to include but not limited to: (Emergency Response duties and/or coverage, Department duty coverage and/or call out, and positions outside of department in support of outage activities etc.)
