Autism Aide

Job overview

The Autism Aide role is a part-time, hourly position with cases available in Albany, NY, and services delivered in home-based settings. Compensation is $20–$24 per hour. The role supports children and families through Achieve Beyond’s pediatric therapy and autism services. The aide provides direct Applied Behavior Analysis instruction under a Board Certified Behavior Analyst’s educational plan, records program data, and collaborates with the case team and family. This work helps promote consistency in the child’s home and community settings.

What you'll do

• Provide direct ABA instruction according to the educational plan outlined by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst
• participate in collaborative case meetings
• debrief family members after sessions and share resources and strategies for home and community consistency
• collect daily data and organize the child’s program book weekly
• and maintain confidentiality in accordance with state and federal regulations.

Why this role

Requires either at least two years of supervised experience working with children with special needs ages 2–21, or successful completion of or current enrollment in a related undergraduate or graduate program. Achieve Beyond provides 20-hour classroom training and a competency exam.
