What you'll do

• Schedule imaging exams and procedures according to department protocols
• follow up on patient orders and referrals
• understand patient flow, imaging procedures, preparation requirements, and patient history needs
• work with insurance sites on cost estimates
• obtain physician orders and insurance verification or pre-authorization
• answer multiple phone lines and triage situations involving patients and physicians
• serve as a liaison for the imaging department.
